Secret4You App Allows You To Share Secrets Anywhere
In a world where privacy is quickly becoming a thing of the past, a way to keep secrets safe can be invaluable. Whether you’re having an intimate conversation in a public channel or you’re sharing secrets of a larger scale, it’s sometimes not enough just to send it in a private e-mail; when there’s a secret you just can’t have surface there’s Secret4You for the iPhone. The Secret4You app, created on Appcelerator Titanium, allows you to encode your secrets so that only those you want can see your secrets.
The application works like this: write a message in text and once your secret is ready, the text
will be encoded in a QR code. This code can then be shared with your intended audience via any means that allows you to share images. You can even post your secret on Facebook, as only those who scan your QR Code with the app will be able to unlock your secret. But not anyone with the application can see it; to view the secret on Secret4You, you need to input the correct password.
Though the developer, Mario Navarro Palos, does view the number of downloads as a measure of success, he already considers the app a triumph as Appcelerator Titanium allowed its creation in the short span of one week. Mario has chosen to work with Titanium stating, “With Titanium you can build apps 10 times faster than other frameworks or tools. Almost everybody is familiarized with javascript, making the coding part a dream for non-experienced developers. The community is great, you find the help, knowledge and respect from the Titans who are always helping the Titanium in community.”
The free version of the application allows you to decode the QR scans of your friends, but to encode messages and create your own QR codes, you’ll need to upgrade to the full version, available for only $0.99. You can find the free version here and Secret4You Pro here.
