Thank you everyone for coming out to our #GenMobile party during the Google I/O conference! Even though we just hosted a huge bash at WWDC a few weeks ago, when the opportunity presented itself to do it again at Google I/O, we were ON IT!

With the huge success and excitement around #GenMobile at WWDC, we decided to do it again - this time during Google I/O.  Our goal is to connect mobile mavens, industry guru's and those fired up by the explosive mobile revolution.

I am in New York this week attending the TechCrunch Disrupt and I had the opportunity to catch up with my old friend Mike Bayle. Mike recently accepted the job to head up all of ESPN's mobile strategy, and we had a good time reminiscing about our days working at startups in the first Internet boom of the late '90s. Specifically, we talked about how many startups launching nowadays were ideas that we also tried to pull off over a decade ago.
