Apple's most recent announcements at WWDC about new features to be included in iOS 6 and Mac OS X Mountain Lion show their commitment to adding cloud-enabled services to their entire platform. By making features such as social integration with Facebook and photo sharing part of the operating system, and allowing accessibility through a consistent API, developers can now more easily provide a better end-user experience.

Earlier this morning Apple CEO Tim Cook started the WWDC party with the keynote address in San Francisco.  While impressive updates for MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and OSX were announced, it was clear that the focal points of the event were the mobile apps and the 200 new features of iOS 6.  Cook stressed the way mobile apps are changing our world by choosing to open his speech with some surprising stats:

The Avengers


A couple of weeks ago, my girlfriend and I headed to our favorite movie theater in San Francisco to see The Avengers. She didn't have any real expecatations going in, but I was very skeptical that it would be a good movie, in spite of all the great reviews it was garnering.
