As head of Appcelerator's Alliances team, I have the privilege of working with many of our talented technology and integration partners as they build out our ecosystem and leverage the Titanium platform to deliver rich mobile applications for their clients. I am constantly amazed by the energy, excitement, and unique point of view (POV) these dedicated entrepreneurs bring to our community. We are pleased to announce Appcelerator is extending our core value of cross platform native application development beyond iOS and Android, on to RIM's BlackBerry devices. This provides even more extensiblitiy of the Appcelerator Titanium mobile application devleopment platform.  This is a huge win for enterprise customers trying to mobilize their core applications on to Blackberry devices.

Javacript Performance

There’s been lots of exciting news this summer about JavaScript performance improvements. We have Firefox’s TraceMonkey, Safari/WebKit’s SquirrelFish, and Google Chrome’s V8 all improving by leaps and bounds. On a sightly less exciting note, IE8 will contain 400 fewer memory leaks.
