Appcelerator is proud to announce twelve winners in its first mobile developer challenge.  Selected from 115 submissions, these apps were evaluated by an expert panel, described below, based on the depth of each app's integration with Appcelerator's Titanium software, Appcelerator's Cloud Services, utility, user experience, and originality.  The judges' mission in reviewing submissions required their focus on the innovation each app offers but also on their potential to disrupt the global mobile industry with the app's impact.  These judges sought -- and found! -- apps sure to rock the mobile world.  Those tasked with this intense mission included the following mobile industry experts, top-tier venture capitalists, and industry leaders: Jeff Haynie, CEO of Appcelerator; Isaac Roth, PaaS Master of Red Hat; Chris Yeh, VP of Platform at Box; Dylan Tweney, Executive Director of VentureBeat; Navin Chaddha, Managing Director of Mayfield Fund; Ryan Floyd, General Partner at Storm Ventures; Tim Guleri, Managing Director of Sierra Ventures; John Occhipinti, Partner at Relay Ventures; and Toshi Otani, Managing Director at TransLink Capital.
